Privacy Policy

Overview

Emotion Hub is a mood tracking and journaling app for iOS. It operates entirely on your device. We believe your emotional journal is deeply personal, and we built this app with that principle at its core.

Data We Collect

None. Specifically:

• No personal information is collected
• No usage analytics or tracking
• No cookies or device identifiers
• No crash reports sent to us
• No third-party analytics, advertising or crash-reporting SDKs

Journal & Emotion Data

All emotion entries, journal notes, and behavioral data you record in Emotion Hub are stored locally on your device using SwiftData. Data syncs across your own Apple devices via iCloud — it is never sent to our servers because we don't have any.

HealthKit Access

Emotion Hub may request access to Apple HealthKit to correlate your mood with health metrics such as sleep, heart rate, and exercise. This data is read locally on your device only. No HealthKit data is ever transmitted externally.

Subscriptions

Emotion Hub offers in-app subscriptions managed entirely through Apple's App Store. Payment processing is handled by Apple, and we never have access to your payment information. Verifying that a subscription is active is performed by RevenueCat from the App Store receipt, as described under Third-Party Services below. Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel your subscription in your device's Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions.

Third-Party Services

Emotion Hub uses one third-party service: RevenueCat, which verifies your subscription with the App Store on our behalf. It receives an anonymous, randomly generated app user ID and the App Store transaction receipt for your purchase — nothing else. It never receives your journal entries, emotion records, notes, HealthKit data, name, email address, or any other identifying information. RevenueCat's own privacy policy is available at revenuecat.com/privacy.

Apart from RevenueCat, the app's only external communication is with Apple's StoreKit for payment and with Apple's CloudKit for your personal iCloud sync. There are no analytics, advertising, attribution, or crash-reporting SDKs of any kind.

Data Storage

All data is stored in SwiftData on your device and synced via your personal iCloud container. No data is stored on any external server operated by us.

Children's Privacy

Emotion Hub does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children under the age of 13.

Changes to This Policy

If we ever update this privacy policy, changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Given our zero-collection approach, we do not anticipate significant changes.
